What you will learn

At Rifti Film School, Color Grading is taught as a powerful tool that shapes the mood, style, and emotional impact of a film. Students learn how color influences storytelling and how subtle adjustments can change the atmosphere of a scene. By studying color theory, contrast, exposure, and visual tone, learners understand how to transform raw footage into stunning, cinematic visuals.

The Color Grading program emphasizes hands-on training using industry-standard software such as DaVinci Resolve. Students work with real project footage, learning techniques like primary and secondary corrections, matching shots, building looks, and managing color workflows. Through guided exercises, they explore how to create consistency across scenes and how to craft unique visual styles seen in films, web series, commercials, and digital content.
